HR Generalist

Salary Range: $60-75K
Job Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to meet the organization’s hiring needs.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, assessment, and offer negotiation.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and develop role-specific hiring strategies.
- Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms, including setting up and maintaining the ATS (Applicant Tracking System), to streamline the hiring process.
- Maintain a candidate pipeline and build relationships with potential candidates for future opportunities.
- Enhance employer branding initiatives to make BlastPoint an employer of choice.
- Onboarding:
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive introduction to the company culture and values.
- Coordinate orientation sessions, training programs, and integration activities.
- Offboarding and Terminations:
- Conduct exit interviews to collect feedback and analyze turnover data.
- Manage the offboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for departing employees.
- Collaborate with legal to ensure that terminations are executed in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Coordinate with Engineering, security, and other relevant departments for asset retrieval and access revocation.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management and termination procedures.
- Employee Relations:
- Address inquiries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain up-to-date records of all employees in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations and standards.
- Support the company in implementing HR initiatives such as performance management, training and development, and benefits administration.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with best practices in recruitment and HR trends.
- Recommend improvements to recruitment strategies and other HR processes.
Job Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of HR experience
- Strong understanding of the complete recruitment process.
- Familiarity with HR software and Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Greenhouse.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
