Description

Cobalt is looking for a website manager to join our demand generation team. This position will be responsible for supporting our website strategy, including overall Information Architecture (IA), content management, and day-to-day maintenance, focusing on the user experience and buyer’s journey, as well as website optimization and reporting.

This role will work closely with our brand, demand generation, product, and technical teams to ensure the website delivers qualified leads to support our sales organization, effectively engages with customers and prospects, and accurately and advantageously represents our brand.

What You'll Do

  • Own the overarching strategic vision of web projects spanning design, development, and optimization. Accountable for web roadmap and planning efforts that support Cobalt’s annual marketing strategies and broader business objectives.
  • Facilitate the collaborative development of the website, managing inputs from multiple internal and external stakeholders and overseeing the information architecture (IA), usability, creative execution, and web metrics reporting activities.
  • Increase traffic and engagement to the website. Work closely with SMEs from marketing and other stakeholders to ensure we are delivering incremental changes to our site on time and on budget.
  • Lead IA enhancement efforts. Develop a deep level of understanding of the content structure across the content management system (CMS), and provide recommendations to improve consistency.
  • Manage the website’s content, including creating new and optimizing existing pages. Work with the product marketing and brand teams to ensure graphics and copy are up to date and on brand. Apply SEO and SEM best practices and strategies.
  • Working with our vendors, generate mockups of web page designs, wireframes and workflows to continually enhance content, design and the user experience.
  • Create and optimize website landing pages to maximize conversion. Work with demand generation leadership and MarketingOps team implement form shortening.
  • Manage and optimize landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), Chat Bot playbooks, lead-generation forms, etc. Collaborates with the marketing team to A/B test creatives, audiences, and landing pages.
  • Develop an understanding of our buyers and their digital journeys and enable vertically and contextually optimized and personalized experiences.
  • Develop and track KPIs and UX metrics regularly and make recommendations to consistently improve the user experience as well as driving business results.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on website performance. Apply analytics to track and manage performance and inform decisions on web site content, asset consumption, and traffic patterns that drive actions to improve conversion.
  • Oversees the day-to-day maintenance and administration of Cobalt’s website. Ensure a fast, reliable, scalable website.
  • Identify and troubleshoot website technical issues. Ensure website functionality and perform software updates. Develop scripts and code centered on digital attribution, user tracking and tag management. Ensure domain registration and hosting are current.
  • Maintain compliance with GDPR, CCPA, ADA, and other required frameworks

You Have

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience running a B2B corporate website for a high-growth tech company leveraging a CMS (HubSpot preferred).
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership, an ability to manage your programs and clearly communicate your results back to the organization
  • Strong cross-functional team/project management, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to derive actionable insights that drive website optimization and improve website performance and conversion
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management experience, with often changing priorities and tight timelines.
  • Knowledge of design, UX, testing, and product management will be utilized to optimize website performance and in turn, maximize revenues.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using a conversion rate optimization process to markedly raise website performance.
  • Experience with Qualified or similar chatbot technologies
  • Strong proficiency with web performance tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Tag Manager, data aggregation tools such as Looker, and familiarity with front-end web development basics (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, strategic and adaptable thinker that develops innovative solutions and delivers against tight deadlines while keeping a keen eye on detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website performance, hosting, and integrations.
  • Bachelor's Degree required

Pay Range Disclosure (For US openings only)

Cobalt is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is ($109,000 - $134,000) per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states and may be impacted by proximity to major metropolitan cities.
